Dreams

I think a lot of things, many things that I want, and many things I dreamed. 
First, I dreamed of becoming a painter, because in my opinion, I love playing with colors. 
Then I wanted to be an architect because I like draw.  
But now, I want to be a psychology, because I like to listen to the stories of others, 
pay attention to the habits of people, caring for others, and had a curiosity. 
I also love to play music, such as playing guitar, singing, or trying to learn new things in music.
I am interested in astronomy, studying objects in space, 
but I know the value of my physics is not good, so  I discourage. 
I am also interested in learning about earth, which means that I am interested in geography. 
But, sometimes I dream of becoming an author or novelist. 
Honestly, I have not ultimately determine what is the purpose of my life. 
But, perhaps of many dreams, I am more obsessed with becoming a psychologist. 
I think it is nice when we can sharing with others, or give advice that can help, 
provide motivation, and can take lesson from an event. 
I think I was the one who likes to imagine, 
fun to be able to imagine things that do not necessarily occur, bu it may happen 
In the future, I want to be myself, to be what I want, and useful to others.
 I want to have a job in which I like to be able to do the job without the burden and feel free. 
Such as Bandung mayor said“the most enjoyable job is a hobby that is paid.”

Global Citizen

Historically human beings always have organized themselves into groups and communities based on shared identity. Such identity gets forged in response to a variety of human needs - economic, political, religious, and social. As group identities grow stronger, those who hold them organize into communities, articulate shared values, and build governance structures that reflect their beliefs.

global citizens:

1. Respect fellow humans, regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or political views.
2. Appreciate diversity and the benefits it can offer any advanced society.
3. View no single society or culture as inherently superior to any other.
4. Cherish the natural world and respect the rights of all living things.
5. Practice and encourage sustainable patterns of consumption and production.
6. Work to eradicate poverty and inequality in all their forms.
7. Support economic institutions that act transparently and in the public good.
8. Strive to resolve conflicts without the use of violence.
9. Feel responsibility to help solve pressing global challenges in whatever way they can
10. Think globally, act locally

Although growing numbers of people are interested in making a positive impact, global citizenry still lives in the abstract in many circles. For example, while most people would say that they support human rights and environmental protection, they seem to view activists for these causes with a mix of scorn and indifference. This view stems from the public’s general lack of understanding of global issues and the role of activists in addressing them. Global citizenry is not about protest; although sometimes protest is necessary. Nor does it require extensive travel. Global citizenry requires awareness and action consistent with a broad understanding of humanity, the planet, and the impact of our decisions on both.

Attitudes take time to change, but change does come. It wasn't long ago that racism, sexism, and xenophobia were the norm in countries that are now considered progressive. The direction of history appears to be in favor of greater empathy and greater social consciousness. The dream of a fairer and more sustainable planet will be realized when we enact change in our everyday lives.

Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful young lady named, Grace. Not only did she is beautiful, but she was also kind and smart. She came from an honoured family, but she wasn’t arrogant, that’s one of the reasons why everyone loved and adored her, including the two princes of the kingdom, Will and Hans.

Years earlier, Grace was kidnapped by the Wicked Witch but eventually saved by the princes, who later both developed a crush on her. Her parents were also killed, so from that day Grace lived with her best friends, Jane and Elizabeth.

One day, Grace was walking around the forest with Jane and Elizabeth. But unfortunately, Grace lost track of them. Then, the wicked witch and her minion, Ammie, appeared out of nowhere in front of her.

Wicked witch  : Hello, dear. Nice meeting you here.

Grace               : What do you want from me?

Wicked witch  : Oh, you know, just want to casually take away your happiness.

Grace               : What have I ever done to you?

Wicked witch  : So oblivious, you make the whole kingdom hate me and you still ask why?

Will                 : Stop! Get away from her! (hold out his sword)

Wicked witch  : You again, why am I not surprised?

Hans                : He said, get away from her! (appear beside Will)

Ammie                        : The princess can’t even fight for her own battle, what a coward! (laughing)

Wicked witch  : Quiet! (turn to Grace) You heard what she said, I’ll give you five days. (disappear)

Jane                 : Grace, are you okay? You don’t have to do it.

Grace               : No, she’s right, I have to fight for my own battle.

Elizabeth         : But you can’t even use any weapon, how will you fight her?

Grace               : I don’t know.

Will                 : Don’t worry, we know someone who can teach you everything in a short period of time.

Elizabeth         : Who?

Hans                : Robin, she’s a professional archer.

            And so, the five of them went to Robin’s house and asked for her help. She gladly taught Grace and her friends how to fight and defend themselves. Two days later…

Robin              : So, you need to duck every time someone tries to shoot you. Like this. (duck)

Jane                 : Like this? (duck)

Robin              : Yeah, good job, Jane. Nice shot, Liz.

Elizabeth         : Thank’s. Hey, Jane, look at them. (pointing at Grace and Will)

Jane                 : They look so cute together. (gush)

Elizabeth         : I bet they like each other.

Grace               : Hey, Robin, can they take a few minutes break?

Robin              : Sure, just make sure you guys remember what I taught you. I will test you after the break.

Elizabeth         : Hey, Grace, come here!

Grace               : What is it?

Jane                 : Do you have a crush on Will?

Grace               : What? No! (embarrassed)

Elizabeth         : Don’t lie to us, Grace, it’s obvious!

Grace               : Okay, I like Will. But, don’t tell anyone about this.

            Hans, who had a crush on Grace, overheard this conversation. From that day, every time he looked at Grace and Will together, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.

Hans                : Why can’t she like me? Why should she like Will? (kick a stone)

Robin              : (appear behind Hans with Will) Hey, Hans, can you help Will with the arrows?

Hans                : Oh, hey, Robin, sure.

Grace               : (come in) Where are you going, Robin?

Robin              : Oh, I need to run some errands. I’ll be back by noon. (leave)

Will                 : Is it me or the sun shines brighter when you’re around?

Grace               : Such a flirt, Will.

Hans                : Uhm, I…I need to go. (go to the forest)

Ammie                        : She loves your brother, right? How could he betray you?

Hans                : He doesn’t betray me.

Ammie                        : He definitely did and you need to take a revenge.

Hans                : What? No!

Ammie                        : It will be worth it.

Hans                : But I can’t betray them.

Ammie                        : You won’t look like it.

Ammie                        :We’ll make you look like a hero.

Hans                : How?

Ammie                        : (whisper inaudibly)

Hans                : Okay, I’ll go with you

            So then, Hans went to the Wicked Witch’s lair, leaving his friends behind in hope that the plan would work and somehow, Grace would fall in love with him instead.

            Meanwhile, the wicked witch was preparing brew a poison, which later would be put inside her sword.

Wicked witch  : Oh dear, what a surprise. Finally, you’ve chosen the right side.

Hans                : I only do this for revenge.

Wicked witch  : Ah, the power of unrequited love.

Hans                : But don’t kill Grace.

Wicked witch  : Let me think about that. (after a few seconds) Alright, deal. Now scoot! Prepare yourself for the battle tomorrow.

                                   The next day is the fifth day, the day of the battle. Grace, Will, Elizabeth, Jane and Robin were preparing for the battle when Robin realised that Hans was nowhere in sight.

Jane                 : Where is Hans?

Will                 : We don’t know.

Elizabeth         : Last time we saw him was yesterday.

Will                 : Yeah, he was helping me with the arrows.

Robin              : Has anyone tried to look for him?

Grace               : We have, but we couldn’t find him.

Robin              : But you don’t have time to search for him now.

Jane                 : Yeah, we have to go now.

Robin              : Good luck, I put my faith in you.

            The four of them went to the battlefield, a beautiful green meadow. The wicked witch and her minions were already there. Little did they know that Hans was hiding among them.

Wicked witch  : So, shall the battle begin?

Will                 : Hans? (confused)

Ammie                        : Fight!

Everyone         : (fight each other, until Wicked Witch kill Grace)

Will & Hans    : No!

Elizabeth&Jane: Grace!

Hans                : You lied! (kill Wicked Witch)

 Ammie           : (gasp)

            Everyone was shocked with what just happened, until they realised that Hans had actually betrayed them.

Elizabeth         : Hans, you betray us?

Hans                : I… I’m sorry, it’s just, I’m in love with Grace and she loves Will.

Will                 : You love Grace? I… I didn’t know.

Jane                 : But you can’t use it as a reason to betray us.

Hans                : I’m sorry…

Will                 : It’s not that easy, Hans.

            Years later, Will had became a king while Robin was  as the king’s advisor. Jane and Elizabeth now lived in the palace. They hadn’t forgiven Hans since that battle. He now lived in a tiny little house in the middle of the forest with   and Ammie.

            On one sunny morning, Hans and the minions were sweeping the floor of the front of their tiny little house. But Hans wasn’t focused on his job, his mind was travelling somewhere else.

Hans                : (stop sweeping) I miss the kingdom.

 Ammie           : Don’t be sad, Hans. You still have me.

Will                 : (come) Hans.

 &Ammie: Your highness. (bow)

Ammie                        : Uhm, pardon, but why do you come here?

Will                 : We decided to forgive Hans.

Jane                 : And we want you back in the kingdom.

Robin              : Ammie too.

 Hans               : Are you sure?

Elizabeth         : Positive!

Hans                : Thank you, brother. I’m sorry for what I’ve done.

Will                 : It’s alright, I’m glad to have you back.

            Like every fairytale, this one, ended happily. Even, when Hans had done a terrible mistake, the other still forgave him despite how it took them years to do so. As for the beautiful and kindlady, she would never be forgotten because the meadow where they fought, was now named after her. Meadow of Grace.

Moral of the story: We shouldn’t be blinded by hatred and jealousy. Also, we must always forgive people even if they’ve done a terrible mistake.

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs, who left their mummy and daddy to see the world. All summer long, they roamed through the woods and over the plains, playing games and having fun. None were happier than the three little pigs, and they easily made friends with everyone. Wherever they went, they were given a warm welcome, but as summer drew to a close, they realized that folk were drifting back to their usual jobs, and preparing for winter. Autumn came and it began to rain. The three little pigs started to feel they needed a real home. 

Sadly they knew that the fun was over now and they must set to work like the others, or they'd be left in the cold and rain, with no roof over their heads. They talked about what to do, but each decided for himself. The laziest little pig said he'd build a straw hut. "It will only take a day,' he said. The others disagreed. "It's too fragile," they said disapprovingly, but he refused to listen. 

Not quite so lazy, the second little pig went in search of planks of seasoned wood. "Clunk! Clunk! Clunk!" It took him two days to nail them together. 

But the third little pig did not like the wooden house. "That's not the way to build a house!" he said. "It takes time, patience and hard work to build a house that is strong enough to stand up to wind, rain, and snow, and most of all, protect us from the wolf!" 

The days went by, and the wisest little pig's house took shape, brick by brick. From time to time, his brothers visited him, saying with a chuckle. "Why are you working so hard? Why don't you come and play?" But the stubborn bricklayer pig just said "no". "I shall finish my house first. It must be solid and sturdy. And then I'll come and play!" he said. "I shall not be foolish like you! For he who laughs last, laughs longest!" 

It was the wisest little pig that found the tracks of a big wolf in the neighborhood. The little pigs rushed home in alarm. Along came the wolf, scowling fiercely at the laziest pig's straw hut. "Come out!" ordered the wolf, his mouth watering. I want to speak to you!" "I'd rather stay where I am!" replied the little pig in a tiny voice. "I'll make you come out!" growled the wolf angrily, and puffing out his chest, he took a very deep breath. Then he blew with all his might, right onto the house. And all the straw the silly pig had heaped against some thin poles, fell down in the great blast. Excited by his own cleverness, the wolf did not notice that the little pig had slithered out from underneath the heap of straw, and was dashing towards his brother's wooden house. When he realized that the little pig was escaping, the wolf grew wild with rage. "Come back!" he roared, trying to catch the pig as he ran into the wooden house. 

The other little pig greeted his brother, shaking like a leaf. "I hope this house won't fall down! Let's lean against the door so he can't break in!" Outside, the wolf could hear the little pigs' words. Starving as he was, at the idea of a two course meal, he rained blows on the door. "Open up! Open up! I only want to speak to you!" Inside, the two brothers wept in fear and did their best to hold the door fast against the blows. Then the furious wolf braced himself a new effort: he drew in a really enormous breath, and went ... WHOOOOO! The wooden house collapsed like a pack of cards. 

Luckily, the wisest little pig had been watching the scene from the window of his own brick house, and he rapidly opened the door to his fleeing brothers. And not a moment too soon, for the wolf was already hammering furiously on the door. This time, the wolf had grave doubts. This house had a much more solid air than the others. He blew once, he blew again and then for a third time. But all was in vain. For the house did not budge an inch. 

The three little pigs watched him and their fear began to fade. Quite exhausted by his efforts, the wolf decided to try one of his tricks. He scrambled up a nearby ladder, on to the roof to have a look at the chimney. However, the wisest little pig had seen this ploy, and he quickly said. "Quick! Light the fire!" With his long legs thrust down the chimney, the wolf was not sure if he should slide down the black hole. It wouldn't be easy to get in, but the sound of the little pigs' voices below only made him feel hungrier. "I'm dying of hunger! I'm going to try and get down." And he let himself drop. But landing was rather hot, too hot! The wolf landed in the fire, stunned by his fall. The flames licked his hairy coat and his tail became a flaring torch. "Never again! Never again will I go down a chimney" he squealed, as he tried to put out the flames in his tail. Then he ran away as fast as he could.  

The three happy little pigs, dancing round and round the yard, began to sing. "Tra-la-la! Tra-la-la! The wicked black wolf will never come back...!" From that terrible day on, the wisest little pig's brothers set to work with a will. In less than no time, up went the two new brick houses. The wolf did return once to roam in the neighborhood, but when he caught sight of three chimneys, he remembered the terrible pain of a burnt tail, and he left for good. Now safe and happy, the wisest little pig called to his brothers. "No more work! Come on, let's go and play!"

AMAZING PLACE: ENGLAND

England is called United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. London is capital from England. England is an archipelago. Distance from the north end to the south is 965km and from east to west is 515km. Land area of England and Northern Ireland is 318.871 km². The UK and Europe are separated by the Straits of Dover.

For me, England is awesome place. Because, a lot of interesting places that can be visited there. England is also one of the major countries that affect other countries. So many famous places in the UK that is heard throughout the world such as libraries, museums, big cities, historic buildings, beautiful place, as well as the headlines and the best schools in the world that there.

One of the city most I like in England is London. London is capital of England. In London are also many places of interest such as British Library, Big Ben, Thames River, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and many more. At the first, I liked the city of London as many novels or films that are set in place in London, so that makes me imagine how the actual city of London and the desire to visit the city. I imagine the city of London is a beautiful city.

There are some interesting places in London in my opinion:

1. British Library

This is the largest library in the world based on the number of collection items in the world, that is Britania Library or better known in the world as British Library. British Library is national library United Kingdom (UK) which contains more than 170 milion items. Even the collection each year is expected to increase by 3 million items.

A unique fact say that if you read 5 items everyday, it takes 80.000 years to read the entire collection of the world’s largest library.

2. London eye

London Eye or Millennium wheel is the largest observation wheel in the world with high as 135 meters or 443 feet. London Eye spinning on Thames River, London, England and began operations in late 1999.)

3. Istana Buckingham

Buckingham Palace is the official recidence of the British Queen in London. This palace is a place for state events, place to welcome guests of the state, and place for recreation. Sometimes in happiness, crisis or mourning times, it also became the center of gathered for the people in UK.

This building is one building that is very popular and visited by no less than 50.000 tourist each year to attend a dinner, lunch party, reception, and formal parties of the royal family.

4. Big ben

Big Ben is the name that refers to a clock tower located in Parliament Building at Westminster, London, England, and is the second largest clock tower in the world after “Royal Clock Tower” in Mecca. This clock is located in the northeast oh the house of Parliament in Westminster, London. Big Ben clock tower have 150 years old, is one of the main attraction in London.

This clock tower can be called to be the largest for hundreds of years in the world. The clock tower has become a symbol by England and London, and has become the most visited recreation place.

5. Thames River

Thames River is a river flowing in southern England and connecting London with sea. 356 kilometer long river with extensive reach 12.935 km² is water empties into the North Sea.

And than, another some interesting place in England in my opinion is:   

   1.    Oxford University

Oxford University located in Oxford, England. One of the most prestigious universities in the UK since produced many notable alumni. The university also includes the ancient university and the oldest English-language which has existed since ancient times, but the exact date of the establishment of this university was still unclear. This university regularly compete with Cambridge University to occupy the first position ranking of universities in the United Kingdom.

2.     Stonehenge

Stonehenge is the most popular recreation place in England. Stonehenge is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Stonehenge was built by a culture that left no written records in history evidence suggests that large stones were established about 2500 BC. It is not known exactly what the purpose of Stonehenge was built, but many researchers believe the monument was used as a center of ceremony or religion.

3. Lake District

Lake District located in northwestern England at County Cumbria. Lake District is the largest National Park in this country. The main attaraction is the lake and the hills (mountains and hills) carved by glacial erosion and provide a dramatic and inspiring scenery. Tourist attraction in the UK is the main destination for those who want the activity of hiking and climbing in the UK. The park is visited by approximately 14 million national and international tourists every year.

Matswapati !

On 27th September 2014, the Matswapati event was held. Matswapati is a cultural festival that is held by SMAN 3 Bandung. Preparation of Matswapati event is busied for all classes. All classes must decorate each booth, including my class.

One day before the event, I was helping my friend and seniors to painting the fabric and make the board game. Many obstacles encountered during manufacture, but the end result is quite satisfactory. I worked on after school until 6 pm. That’s tiring day.. but I'm glad because I could help decorate the class stand.

Next day, I came to school at 7 am. First, I have to parade to enliven the event matswapati. The Parade followed by grade 10 with using clothing typical Sundanese culture. The most creatively dressed class will be assessed by the teacher. The parade route from Bali street  to Belitung street, then Aceh street, Merdeka street, Jawa street and than we back to Bali street. What we do when the parade is to promote the matswapati event. Then, there was the inauguration of the event before the opening ceremony. Inauguration done by the mayor of Bandung, Mr. Ridwan kamil. The mayor gave his speech for the occasion. He gave away prizes to those who can answer the question. When the mayor is being  speech, I was working my physics task to be collected at 12 noon.

The event is crowded. Many students who took turns keeping class booth during the event. Each class made ​​a stand with different decorations and contents. One is to provide game booths, selling, rest areas, and others. I had played a few games in the other booths, but I lost the game. I'm actually a little nervous during the event, because I’m thingking about my school assignment I have to do.

There are also a lot of booths that sell food and beverages, especially typical of Sunda. Appearance of guest stars and extracurricular school one by one began to appear. Day was getting late, the awaited guest star of  many people will soon appear, that is Barsena and Glen Fredly. Their singer with the unique voice.

Finally, comes the awaited guest star is, Barsena! He sang a few songs that I know. Me and my friends singing along. It's one of the nice things because I can sing and shout loudly when barsena performed.

Furthermore, the guest star actually waiting at the end of the event is Glen Fredly! Omg, I'm happy to see him perform. It feels like my fatigue was because his performed. I know a lot of songs when he sings. I followed the euphoria of other viewers while watching Glen Fredly. The situation was really noisy and crowded. I watched it until the last song is "kasih putih".

Right after the song was finished, the event was finished too at 9:30 pm. I go home with 3 of my friends to work together on group assignments in my house. One of my friends stay in my house. Because I chatting with her, I just sleep at 1 am. But thankfully, tomorrow is SUNDAY J)

Annisa's biography

          Annisa putri bungsu hasri. She is my new friend in high school. I usually call her 'bungsu', because she wants other people call her with it name or maybe because she's the youngest of 3 siblings. 

          I became her classmates when the school introductions. I was acquainted with my new another friend and finally I became acquainted with Bungsu.

          Bungsu was born in cimahi on  1999, october 27th. She lived in lembah permai hanjuang block 3/ 10 cimahi. distance from home to school is so far away and requires a lot of time.

          I just found out that Bungsu graduated from 15 junior high school bandung who continue the education to 3 senior high school. Only Bungsu and one of her friend who entered to 3 senior high school from 15 junior high school. At previous I do not yet know who is Bungsu, whereas my junior high school with her junior high school almost near.

          She has a hobby of reading books of fiction, detective, or crime, watching movies fantasy, fiction, action, etc.

          Talk about her aim, Bungsu still do not know what about her aims until now, maybe she is still confusion as to what he likes and commitment. But, whatever Bungsu to be, I hope she will be successful always.

Autobiography

           Hello! My name is Adli Sabila J. M. and I'm 16 years old. I was born in Bandung, 1998, Juli 31st. I'm the third child of four siblings. My father is a recture and my mom is a teacher. I live at Jl. Kartika 1 no. 17 H KPAD, Gegerkalong, Bandung with my grandma. I go to in 3 senior high school bandung X grade 8 science. I used to go to school in 12 junior high school bandung and Sukarasa 3,4 elementary school.
           My hobbies is reading a book inclued comic, jogging, swimming, drawing, watching film, and many more. But, the most I like is about the music is like listening to music, singing, playing guitar or the other musical instruments. 
           I have a lot a dreams. Eventhought I have many dreams, I don't know what I really going to achieve it. Although I don't know for sure what my goal but I'm sure god has planned the best for me. Because the goodwill will result in something good too.
